Employee Health & Wellness

Citizens Baptist understands that managing the health and safety of employees is an ever increasing concern for employers. Our Occupational Health & Wellness Program is designed to prevent employee health issues, help restore employee health when an injury occurs and return employees to work quickly and safely. Because our program is part of the Brookwood system of care, patients can seamlessly access specialists and services at Citizens Baptist Medical Center.

Workers’ Compensation Emergency Department Fast-Track Program

Citizens Baptist's 24-hour Emergency Department is staffed with physicians and nurses trained to provide quality, efficient and timely care for work related injuries. In our Fast-Track Program, patients with work related injuries will be identified upon arrival and immediately triaged. All non-critical patients will be sent to a fast-track room and will be seen by a physician quickly. If necessary, alcohol and drug screenings are available at any time of the day or night. The Fast-Track Program can reduce the overall length of a patient’s stay in the Emergency Department, and in most cases, enable them to return to work promptly.

Our occupational health & wellness services are designed to help you make a positive impact on employee health. We offer a variety of services, including screenings, executive physicals and education classes. Physicians, nurses, dieticians and other health care professionals provide comprehensive services. Screenings and services include:
